It should be the heart of Jesus’ followers to take his love and compassion to any and every place that truly needs it. That’s the heart of CityHope.

Our Outreach Day happens on the last Saturday of every month. Outreach Day is a simple, unique opportunity to share the love of Jesus with our community.

There are so many ways to serve through our Outreach Ministry here at CityHope. Some people may be able to give back to their community whenever they have a free moment while others may have strict schedules and responsibilities. No matter what your availability, if you have a heart to help people, you can help us boldly reach the lost and hurting in our communities.

Local Campus Outreach

Local Campus Outreach events are available at each campus throughout the year, so if you love to help organize events and foster connection, this is for you! These events include organizing car care clinics for single moms and widows, arranging random acts of kindness throughout our cities, collecting and distributing items to Assisted Living Centers, collecting and distributing shoes and backpacks to kids in need and supporting our largest event of the year: Merry Christmas Gulf Coast.

Correctional Ministry

Every Sunday, our Correctional Ministry Teams take the CityHope experience into some of Alabama’s prisons. From writing letters, serving food at events or helping a ministry team conduct a service, if you have a heart for prison ministry, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

Community Partnership

We have Community Partnerships we resource with manpower and other forms of assistance weekly. We serve in homeless shelters, cancer treatment centers, abortion awareness centers, rehab facilities and so much more.
