CITYHOPE CORRECTIONAL MINISTRY

I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
— MATTHEW 25:36

It is the heart of CityHope to plant the local church inside the walls of our local correctional facilities. We take the same Weekend and Small Groups experience you would find at each of our campuses inside facilities across lower Alabama to lead men and women to become fully alive in the true hope of Christ.

“Pops” is a man who walked into CityHope's Fountain Correctional campus after 41 years in prison, one year later his brothers celebrated with him when he declared Jesus as his savior.  He found this freedom after hearing Trey say “You don’t have to be enough, because the cross was. And you don’t have to be empty, because the tomb is”. Right away, Pops wanted to be baptized and with tears in his eyes he said, “I’m so grateful God brought ya’ll to me.”
