LA Dream Center
This team will be partnering with the Los Angeles Dream Center, offering support and services that impact the areas of homelessness, hunger, poverty, addiction, education, and human trafficking in an effort to reconnect isolated people to God and community. Currently, the Dream Center reaches 40,000 people every month through dozens of programs and outreaches. The LA Dream Center is a Kingdom Builders partner.

Cost: Costs are estimated and subject to change due to the number of participants and changing prices from vendors. Payments are due as scheduled leading up to the trip.
Charitable Giving: This trip IS qualified as charitable giving. Payments for mission trips are considered charitable giving and will be reflected in the donor’s annual giving statement.

Personal Fundraising:
- Personal support raising through this platform, Managed Missions (much like a gofundme), is encouraged.
- Reduce your luxury spending (coffee, eating-out, entertainment, etc.)
- Collect and sell unwanted items
- Possibly get a second temporary part-time job
Included in cost:
- Airfare and one checked bag *Lodging
- Meals in the Dream Center Diner
- Ground transportation in Los Angeles
- Global Missions team shirt.
- Trip participants may be asked to collect items that will be donated
**What’s not included? ** *The team may go out for dinners at local restaurants. These meals are not included in the cost. A free day is typically given, and any planned outings would need to be paid for outside of your trip fee. Additionally, snacks/meals while traveling through airports, souvenirs, vaccinations, travel insurance and required ID are not included.
Refunds: If for any reason you cannot or prefer not to go, we will refund/credit as much of the trip cost as possible. We will work with you to get as much of the airfare cost credited/refunded as well. The timing of your cancellation and deposits paid to vendors will determine how much can be refunded.

Packing: Each trip is different and you’ll be given a packing list for this specific trip at the mission trip info meeting before our departure.
Pre-Trip Team Training Meetings: Your trip leader will reach out to you about team meetings before the trip. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your team, begin coordinating tools and supplies needed, and learn more details about what is recommended to pack. Attendance is required for all team meetings.
