New Orleans Super Bowl Anti-Human Trafficking Trip

The Super Bowl has become the largest attraction for human traffickers yearly in the USA.  In 2025, the Super Bowl comes to New Orleans.  Partnered with Little Tree Project and numerous agencies from across the country, our team will take steps to show love to those who could easily become trafficked and those who may already be trafficked.

This trip is unlike any other that CityHope has undertaken.  Therefore, applicants will have to go through a deep interview process, be trained, pass a background check, and serve alongside Little Tree Project throughout the year as we prepare for this trip.

• Total team of 20 people, ages 21+
• 5 men who act as Shepherds for our women on the team
• 15 women

Who is this trip for? This trip is for the very mature Christian who is ready to walk into the darkest places.  Trip participants must have a deep walk with the Lord and be spiritually discerning.

ESTIMATED Cost: $1,000 per person.*(Estimated trip cost until trip is closer)

Included in cost:

• Van transportation, lodging, some food, and ministry project supplies
• Kingdom Builders Go Global team t-shirt
• Trip participants may be asked to collect items that will be donated. 

 Payment Schedule:

• Non-refundable Deposit due upon registration: $100
• Payment 2, due August 3, 2024 = $300 (Cumulative total = $400)
• Payment 3, due October 3, 2024 = $300 (Cumulative total = $700)
• Payment 4, due December 3, 2024 = $300 (Cumulative total = $1,000)

Charitable Giving:
This trip IS qualified as charitable giving. Payments for mission trips are considered charitable giving and will be reflected the donor’s annual giving statement.

Personal Fundraising:

• Personal support letters (a sample support letter will be given after approval)
• Reduce your luxury spending (coffee, eating-out, entertainment, etc.)
• Collect and sell unwanted items on eBay or craigslist
• Possibly get a second temporary part-time job

Hotel or ministry housing

What will we eat?
Some meals will be made for the team, other meals will be at restaurants. If you have food allergies, please notify us in advance and be prepared to bring snacks.

What should I bring?
Each trip is different and you’ll be given a packing list for this specific trip at the mission trip info meeting before our departure.

Pre-Trip Team Training Meetings:
Your trip leader will reach out to you about team meetings before the trip. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your team, begin coordinating tools and supplies needed, and learn more details about what is recommended to pack. Attendance is required for all team meetings, trainings, and practical ministry experiences.

Refunds:
If for any reason you cannot or prefer not to go, we will refund/credit as much of the trip cost as possible. We will work with you to get as much of the airfare cost credited/refunded as well. The timing of your cancelation and deposits paid to vendors will determine how much can be refunded.
